Poulin is garbage, no composure, cant stay on his feet and keep a stick in his hand. Nabokov has some trade value, playing him might have some positive impact in that department.

Probably one thing we can count on not happening. If they do not trust Poulin to play these games, I doubt they trust him to start opening night after missing the playoffs.

If Cappy is still the coach, it will be backup and soon to be starter. This team needs two new goalies.

Isles announced you can buy those snazzy beanies from the Stadium Series, I think you have to call the team store though

I dont think Poulin is starting if the Isles are trying to make a play for an allstar goalie, e.g. Miller trade attempt. They will bring someone like Hiller or Halak. Halak doesnt care where he plays, he will go where he can start and make more money.

Good thinking thou. But I dont think St.Louis could do a deal like that, they are pretty tight to the cap, we would have to take back roster salary for them to fit Vanek in.

Vanek doesn't really fit all that well with St. Louis' defensively responsible two-way forwards. Plus they dealt Bishop because they had Allen waiting in the wings, I doubt they're going to leave themselves with no real backup plan to Halak. Rattie is arguably their top skater prospect as well.

Doubt Pitt is going to give up a strong defensive prospect like Harrington, also. Especially for Andrew MacDonald and even more especially to a team in their own division.

so i'm guessing he has been burned on every trade? i can only think of the nino for clutterbuck trade and the vanek trade off the top of my head which is why i'm asking. should be interesting to see if he can maximize value for amac and vanek.
